Basically there are two types of licences." Minor works" and " Major works ".

The Minor Works are those which are technically simple with a small amount of constructive work involved and a low estimate, which does not change the size of the fitting, nor alters the exterior design, foundations,structure and habitable conditions / safety.

The Simple Minor Works are made up of all works of a simple nature such plastering,cementing walls, floor tiling, etc..
The Qualified Minor Works are those which need a more skilled technique ( partial changes in non essential interior walls, execution or demolition of partitions without altering the existing perimeter, execution or repair of non-master walls,repair or replacement of instalations, slooping or flat roofs.

It is included in the Licence of Major Works the construction and building of complicated techniques and high costs which means altering the size,changing the use of services, number of houses or hotel beds, altering the foundations or structure of the buildings or changes in habitable conditions.
